Getting yourself an online photo account
Flock has a built-in photo uploader that helps copy your photos from your camera or computer to your online photo account. Before you can upload photos, you've got to get an online photo account.
Flock supports three online photo services: Flickr, Piczo and Photobucket. You can find more information on setting up an account with any of these services on their web sites. For a complete list of services that Flock supports please visit our website.
- Flickr - A photo sharing community
- Piczo - For teens
- Photobucket - Tools for photo hosting for blogs and comments
Linking up your account with Flock
Once you have an online photo account, you need to tell Flock about it.
To configure your photo account with Flock
- Navigate to the photo service that you have an account with.
- Log in to your account.
Note: If you were already logged in, please log out and then log back in. - If you've logged in to a service that Flock supports, your login identity will be added to the list of available Accounts and Services.
Once configured, Flock remembers your username and password for one or more photo accounts. To confirm that your account information has been saved, open the accounts and services menu by clicking on the Display Accounts and Services button in the top bar. The button is represented by a picture of a key. If the account was added successfully, the account will appear in the My Accounts section of the Accounts and Services sidebar.
