Mozilla is releasing a patch, 1.5.0.9, tentatively on Thursday, December 14th. Flock will be releasing a patch, 0.7.9, to incorporate this patch as well as a few other enhancements and bug fixes. Details are here but the major changes will be:
Support for Blogger Beta
Incorporate an update to the cLucene indexer. We expect this to improve the stability of Flock
Better error handling for uploading photos to Photobucket
For this patch we plan to have a release candidate available by end of day Tuesday, have an official build available on Thursday and turn on the automatic updates the following Monday. All dependent on our testing and the availability of Mozilla's patch.
Hi guys,
glad to hear you have an update in the pipeline - I have experienced sever crashes in uploading photos to Flickr as well as while having more than 5 tabs open simultaneously. I also noticed it takes a lot of memory - more than 150 Mbyte which seems to be a lot to me, but I'm not an expert
How about some news about the next major release? At least some date estimates?
Finally, Blogger v3.0 support and a more stable flock.
Now one of the only nitpicks i have is OPML importing.
Hi Mike:
Any news regarding the upgrade of Flock's blog editor. I understand you guys were working on an upgrade.
Thanks,
Omar.-
Hi folks,
If you want to take a peak at the upcoming maintenance release patch, it is available at: http://tinderbox.flock.com/builds/candidate/cardinal/cardinal-0.7.9.
Omar, our 1.0 version will have an improved blog editor.
Thx,

When Mike? When?
Gives us at least an estimate for the month....

Sante
good to know this, will try to evaluate the cardinal patch.
Razvan,
I don't think the Flock crew can estimate right now. I was told that they are re-evaluating their timetable. When they know, we all will be told.
