If you'd like to get rid of the Facebook Chat features in the Flock browser (not the actual feature on Facebook.com), follow these instructions:
- Type "about:config" (minus the quotation marks) into the address bar
- Read the warning, and at your own discretion, proceed. Please be careful, as tweaking the wrong setting here could damage your browser.
- In the Filter area of the config page, type in "flock.service.facebook.chat.enabled" (again, minus the quotation marks)
- Double click the entry that shows up: this should set the value to "false"
- Restart Flock.
