Flock MUST be able to save tabs when restarted. By must I really mean must.

Flock 2.0 can save tabs when restarted. I don't think this functionality was included in Flock 1.2.
In Flock 2, if you close Flock via the X in the browser corner, it should ask you whether you want to Save and Quit, just Quit, etc, similar to the way that Firefox behaves. You can also go to Tools, Options, Main panel, and choose "Show my windows and tab from last time" in the from the "When Flock starts" dropdown.
Does this allow for tab crash recovery too? If not, then that would be a required add on or added feature to the browser for me before I'd use it. They have it for both Firefox and IE. Please consider this.
This does _not_ appear to be working for my installation (Flock 2.0, no build number provided). Should this behavior be enabled by default? Is it an option? Is a plugin or addon required? It does seem to work when the browser crashes or I kill the process, but not for a clean application exit.
It's sort of a drag to find this out after it's too late to do anything about it. Now I've got to go fishing through my history to try to recover some of the articles lost.
And there it is. While I can understand why Flock wants to have their home page display by default, it would be nice to let users know that, by the way, if you're expecting to get these tabs back by default when you close the browser, it's not going to happen and you need to do XYZ in order to enable it. Maybe it might be good to reload the users previous tabs along with the homepage and Getting Started pages in additional tabs, selected or otherwise.
In any case though, thanks for the helpful tip. Flock is officially back on my Christmas card list.

Hey Sunburn,
This does allow for tab crash recovery too, exactly like Firefox.

Try the Tools menu, Options, Main tab, the When Flock starts dropdown, and choose "Show my windows and tabs from last time."
