The Main reason to avoid Flock is The scrolling of flock before starting of Flock

Can we have a Flock Version without this scrolling,
In Normal PC's its taking a lotta time to open up Flock
but Fire Fox is Openin Quickly
Is there any settings or any version without this.
If Not is it possible to have a version in future without that??

You can turn off the splash screen with these instructions: http://flock.com/faq/show/30#q_11475
AFAIK, splash screen is removed in 2.0.

Yea I fought with that for a while and got at last
But it is takin the same time as when it takes in "Splash Screen"
do any one have a solution for this???

I'm guessing Flock spends some time loading bookmarks from Del.icio.us/Magnolia, polling for new photos for the My World page, etc. Perhaps someone from Flock Inc. can provide more info on what happens at start up, and if they are considering revisiting this to reduce initial start times?

We've made some significant improvements in the last few months to how Flock loads data. Some of these improvements are in 1.2, but more are in Flock 2. After your initial run of Flock 2, you should see better loading times and the browser should be more usable while loading. We're always looking to improve this, of course, and I'm sure improvements will be made in the future.
