Hey, fantastic work with Flock 2.0... loving just about every change you've made.
Just wondering how long before Flock 2.0 is no longer 'beta'? So far I have experienced no bugs and it seems like a solid release to me, will the final version have a few more features maybe?
I'm guessing the biggest problem you guys have are the decisions on which services to integrate next. As I can see from these forums just about everyone has their own unique preferences and must have services which they want included so it must be hard to filter it down.
That being the case I still think Live Mail is conspicuously absent, especially now you include AOL, Yahoo and Gmail. In fact I can't think of a single person I know who uses aol. I asked this a few months ago and you said the APIs were still not the easiest to use, however I'm pretty sure its still possible? Around 300 million people use Windows Live/Hotmail and I think that's more then double the number of Gmail users. Maybe this is something you are working on =)
Also another thing which would be great to see with each new release of Flock, is a compatible version of Gears, I'm pretty sure its relatively simple, just needs someone to get around to doing it =)
Btw, new sidebar design is great, I was really getting tired of it not resizing to fit the number of accounts =)
Also, one last idea... so far you haven't really worried about any kind of chat features, which is fine because obviously thats not ur focus. However I'm guessing a lot of Flock users also use Digsby. If Flock and Digsby had some kind of integration together that would really make for a killer application. Digsby would work well in the sidebar I think =)
