Hello,
I've the Flock 2.0b1 running on windows Vista, and very often, flock gets closed by Vista saying that flock has been closed by DEP, Data Execution Prevention.
It occurs in many scenario, when using webex for example, or more commonly when surfing on Facebook (This morning I'm updating my projects on the facebook app "On Track", and gets constantly kicked off)...
Feel free to contact me for more information

Do you have any firewalls running, or extensions that might be trying to edit local files?

@ ghismo: Thanks for contacting us. So, to be able to turn to turn off the Data Execution Prevention or edit its settings follow these instructions:
- Go to your Start menu. Then right-click on My Computer and select Properties. From there please choose Advanced System Settings (on the left hand side) and a window will pop up.
- Choose the Advanced tab in that window, and the 1st button you see should say Settings. A window called Performance Options will come up and please choose the Data Execution Prevention tab.
- From there you can choose "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only". This should allow Flock to run properly in Vista. Please let me know if that's not the case.
Thanks so much,
Jen Anderberg

Hi Jen,
In fact it was already the case (see this capture : http://www.flickr.com/photos/97154410@N00/2677145750), I've also tried the second option and tried to select flock not to be monitored by DEP, but vista doesn't accept flock there...
Thanks for your help.
