I have been using Flock for months with no problems. I had some problems with the PC the other day and XP recovered on boot. I am assuming I had corrupted files as a result as Nero would not run. When I went to run Flock, I have a similar problem. All I get is a quick Flock image and the program will not start. I have check the process in system manager and it is not trying to run. I have reinstalled it and tried several suggestions on this site, but none work. I would ordinarily just uninstall it and reinstall but I cannot find my "favorite" file to save it so I can reinstall the bookmarks.
Does anyone know where this file is stored?

Hi gasport,
Thanks for letting us know. I could tell you where the favorites file is, but it's not helpful because you cannot copy it from there. Instead, please back up your profile folder because that has all of the information you need. To backup your profile, close Flock and then simply copy and move the folders listed below to another location (ie: to your desktop):
Mac OS X:
The profile folder is in a folder named "Flock," and you'll find it on this path:
(your home folder)>Library>Application Support>Flock
Linux :
~/.flock/browser/
Windows 2000 and XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your login profile name]\Application Data\Flock\Browser\
Windows Vista:
C:\Users\[your login profile name]\AppData\Roaming\Flock\Browser\Profile
Once this is done, please un-install Flock and then re-install. Once you have a fresh version of Flock running, you can then import that folder again. But if the issue comes up again there might be a corruption in your profile folder and you should then start from fresh.
Please let me know how it all goes, my apologies for this inconvenience.
Thanks for your support!
