Can't Add My Blogger Account?

When trying to add my blogger account, either it will be added to the accounts list and then disappear again shortly thereafter (when using the accounts and services sidebar); or it gives me an error pop-up that says "Eror retrieving string for key: 'flock.service.errorCode_0' (when using the blog post editor tool). Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback. What kind of account are you trying to add? And how are you going about doing this? The more detailed steps you can give me, the better chance I have of hunting down the issue!

Thanks, hope to hear from you soon.

Hi again, Thanks for the feedback. Let's see if we can get this fixed up here. Please follow the instructions below:

- Please type in about:config in the URL bar
- Filter to "flock.service.logger" (minus the quotations)
- Ensure that flock.service.logger.enabled is set to true
- And set flock.service.logger.level to zero.

- This should create a file in your profile directory called "log.txt"
- I see that you're both on Windows, like me, so I went to My Computer>Documents and Settings> (your name) (folder)
- Then Application Data>Flock>Browser>Profiles>random #'s default (folder) and then I see the log.txt file

From there: I would like you to Close Flock, make sure it's not running at all.
- Then I would like you to delete this log.txt file
- Finally, please start Flock again and go to your blog account (to reproduce the error).
- After the error happens, close Flock again and please email me that log.txt file.

That way I can show this file to the developers who are directly involved with this application, and they can diagnose it from there. This will be the easiest way to get a fix!

Thank you for your patience, my apologies for the inconvenience.

Ooh! One more thing :)

I also wanted to let you guys know that the log.txt file may contain private information, so you may want to have a look before sending it. Just make sure that you're comfortable with sending all that information.

Thanks so much,

Along these lines...under accounts and services I can no longer add any other accounts. Is this a glitch or is there a limit? Currently it displays also displays my email accounts, photobucket, some social media sites, and some self-hosted blogs (wordpress). The link to add any other self hosted accounts is gone--is there a work around or is this a glitch?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Ark Lady,

Are you sure you're looking under the Blog section? The top part of the sidebar lists your activated accounts, the bottom part lists what you can set up.

The "self-hosted blog" option should never disappear.
