I'm sorry if this is or sounds stupid, but there's a little thing that's making me really hate Flock since I upgraded to 1.1
Most browsers I use (i.e. Konqueror, Firefox, old Flock) have this pleasant feature, that when I open a new tab the cursor is automatically positioned in the address bar, and I can start typing a new address. For some strange reason, Flock 1.1 does not do that: when I hit Ctrl-T I start typing away, look up, realise this is the *new and improved* Flock, swear, click on the address bar and type the address again.
Is there any way to force Flock 1.1 to behave like the old version - or indeed like most other browsers?

Actually, there's nothing changed in there AFAIK. When I hit Ctrl+T, cursor is pointed to location bar and I can start typing immediately. I'm using the version 1.1.2.
Check if some of your add-ons are causing this.

That's funny, the only add-ons I have are the default ones, and the problem occurred when I upgraded from 0.9 to 1.1 - no add-ons were changed/added
Pwerhaps it's something introduced with the Ubuntu packaging...

we have the exact same problem with two macs, and there is a third one that works as expected with the same version (1.1.2). This started 3 days ago almost at the same time.

I just upgraded to 1.1.2 and the problem persists. I can't find any configuration options that relate to this issue and there doesn't seem to be any add-on that is even remotely related to tabs and/or UI configuration...

It's unfortunate that this is happening. As AtteL suggests, check if some of your add-ons are causing the problem by disabling them individually and testing (Tools->Add-ons, select an add-on and disable).
If that does not help, you can always set cursor focus in the location bar through. On Windows, this is Alt+d.
