Default Search Engine

Hi,
I'm having trouble to change the default search engine.
I followed the FAQ about it, and set the keyword.URL to http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q= but then after restarting flock I still find yahoo! as a default search engine.
How can I change that into google?

Also -- but this is more of a suggestion -- is any way I can change the time after which flock check my email? Like to set it to check every 5 minutes instead of every 10 as it is now.

Thanks, Luca

Hi lugri and mce323,

Thank you for the feedback. To change your default search engine, please try this: Go to Tools>Options> the Searching tab and there at the top there is a drop down menu that allows you to change this. Please let me know if this doesn't work successfully for either of you.

As for changing the preferences for Flock to check your email every five minutes instead of ten, we currently do not have that feature available. However, it will be a feature added to a future release of Flock, but I cannot say how soon. But thank you for the feedback!

Please contact me in the future if you have anymore questions or concerns. Thanks!

Hi Jen:

I'm on a Mac and have gone into the "Searching" tab on the Preferences pane and changed the default search engine to Google, but searches performed from the address bar are still going through Yahoo!.

The weird thing is that it worked the first time I switched it over, then at some point it went back to Y! and now I can't get it back to Google....

Thoughts? Help?
