Hey Flockstars,
I was sitting in the weekly Flock Staff Meeting today, and I couldn't help but mention to the team: "our community is awesome!"
I feel this way all the time, but the reason I had to specifically call it out this week is because you all have been incredibly supportive and helpful during the short sidebar outage (two Flockstars even provided their Facebook login info to help us track it down).
Minutes later, while trying to digest some intense staff meeting pasta, I ran across the awesometacular Gary Vaynerchuck's video about "Good People Day 08". He is always an inspiring guy, but he is positively bursting about GPD08, for good reason: there are few better feelings than recognizing and thanking good people in your life.
With that in mind, Flock would like to officially hand our Good People Day '08 thumbs up to you, our fantastic community.
There is a reason we affectionately refer to those who use Flock as Flockstars. You folks rock. You are our stars. Because of you, we are able to continue having a blast making this product we LOVE. Because of your constant feedback, we are able to make Flock better and better in a way we never could entirely through internal brainstorming.
Most importantly, because of your outspoken love for Flock, your ecstatic word-of-mouth, your blog posts, your Twittering, your VOICE, we are still here building an amazing browser that we care about just as much as you do.

Keep on spreading the word and we'll keep making this thing for you.

flock is awesome and the features are . i love it more than ff with all the extensions and wanna say thx for the good and hard work u have done . my personal number one on my linux box :-)
Thanks a ton for fixing that Facebook issue, now Flock is pretty much all I need to mess around on the internet. I keep showing everyone that comes to my apartment and they all pretty much fall in love. Keep up the good work dude, hope this takes off big!

Evan I just wanna say thanks! It's nice to see such appreciation for your users/community. Can't say that I've seen such a wonderful "thank you" from any other software company ever before. As an addition I would love to thank you Flock Folks for your cutting edge, useful, and creative product. Secondly as a beta tester and default user of Flock I also would like to show my thanks for such great tech support! I mean really I am the kind of guy who uses the feedback button often. To my amazement I have responses that are quick and extremely friendly. That goes a long way in the times we live in. I wish I was on a team like yours man. Thanks for all the hard work you and the Flock team do, your product is a more than a useful addition to my life!
I don't have a fancy website or even much to say other than. Thank you!!! You are my official browser set as default and it took a bit for me to get there but your product kicks butt.
I can't say enough about Flock. I could never go back to IE - and actually (blushing here) never tried Firefox for some reason, which all my friends rave on about, but Flock has so many cool features I'm not even tempted to try any other browser. Keep up the terrific work - your browser is so so so useful and makes my life easier!
I still remember when I first discovered FireFox... i was crazy about it converted most of my friends. Than I discovered FLOCK and it rocks way more than Firefox.... I love everything about... its changing my life and making surfing so much more fun.

I never cared for Netscape. I've use IE since the beginning. My husband used Netscape, but when the warning came up that it was no longer supported, we decided to change for him. I don't know how he feels about it, but I think I'm going to like it. Just remember, most of your users are "regular people", not geeks, nerds or techophiles! Use the old patters of KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid. Play to the masses when you change some thing and keep up the good work.
I tried out Flock way back when - and kept it around on my Mac (along with Firefox and Camino and IE for Mac). Now with the advent of 1.1, my Windows-based browsing is entirely Flock instead of Firefox. I love the picture media tab bars - like having a contact print wherever you go!
I won't be using Firefox anymore - though Camino will prove difficult to displace from my Macintosh desktop :-)

I just discovered something of a nuisance - Flocl does not appear to put my Wordpress tags as tags, but just inserts them as text in the post...
