dellcious error

For the last few hours, I keep getting a popup bar warning that says:

"Del.icio.us error: Error retrieving string for key: 'flock.service.errorCode_3999'[500]"

I can access my Delicious account in Accounts and Services, but can't add anything through the favorites star.

This is on both my iMac and Powerbook.

Well, it looks like del.icio.us is having troubles of its own. Try searching your account for tags (or at least my account for tags).

Well, now it appears to work: didn't a few minutes ago. May be a resource problem.

Hi. I am continually getting a pop-up which says "Del.icio.us reported that your username and password is wrong. Please log into Del.icio.us again to update your authentication information." When I go to Del.icio.us I am logged in just fine. I've tried logging out and logging back in, as well as deleting the Del.icio.us cookie but am still getting the same pop-up. This never happened in Firefox. Any suggestions? Many thanks

Same here. *sigh*
I like Flock, but the continuous problems with synching either Magnolia or Del.icio.us are getting a pain in the *you know where*

I've been getting this message quite regularly since the upgrade to v1.1.. "Del.icio.us reported that your username or password is wrong. Please log in to Del.icio.us again to update your authentication information." Due to where this string turns up in the code, it seems that

CI.flockIError.FAVS_INVALID_AUTH

is turning up as a 'true' case even when it isn't.

It's producing the error every hour or two.

It's definitely not fixed.

Yes, the del.icio.us authentication seems entirely broken: deleting/recreating the Flock service account, deleting cookies, deleting the urn: entry in the passwords store -- nothing seems to clear up the problem!

Ditto here. Definitely not fixed. :(

On Mac OS X (Tiger) and Win XP I've been getting this delicious authentication error message. I'm using Flock 1.1.2 on both computers.

This has been going on for 1 1/2 months and is really annoying. Isn't there any word from the Flock camp about this issue? I'm sure at least a few of them must be actually using Flock and Del.icio.us and receiving this error as well. BTW, it's popped up twice during the course of my writing this. wtf

Bump. I keep having this same problem. Please help. If I can simply disable these error messages that will be fine for me. Cannot find such a setting. Is there something in the about:config I could do? Your help is appreciated!

Cheers,
Jeff

Hey folks,

We are on the cusp of fixing this bug. Unfortunately this has been a very busy time between the two major builds that we are working on, and all our developers have been busy with those. We're pretty sure that as soon as we get our hands on this bug, we will be able to fix it. We hope to roll the fix into Flock 1.2, which will be out soon.

I apologize for the frustration this is causing, I know that it is an annoying bug. Rest assured that we are checking with the developers every day to try to find a moment for them to kill this.

As mentioned before, there is a fix that we are trying to get into the latest build. There has been no change on this, hence no postings by me to this thread.

Hey folks,

This bug is fixed in Flock 1.2, which is now available from www.flock.com. Auto-updates are going out next week, but you can update manually by downloading and running the installer.

Thanks for your patience as we crushed this bug. I'm bummed that it took so long, but this was a symptom of us being in a release cycle and simultaneously developing the next major Flock release.
