So hello everybody, i'm pretty new to these forums, but i'm not to the web, nor to flock. I have always had a lot love for the flock browser and it was a slick and fast browser that saved me lots of time by putting all these lovely things as flickr, delicious and rss into one point,
well until that new design came up... with the new RSS layout, and the small icons up there.
really, the delicious implementation is good, though the tagging system still needs improvements, but i loved all that.
now.... i realized that i dont use flock any more, because with that toolbar and the new way of reading RSS the browser got very slow on my computers. thats an 1.5 ghz 1GB ram asus windows 2003 notebook, and a powerbook g4, 1,67 ghz, 2gb ram, and a macbook pro 2ghz, 2gb ram.
slow in like everything:
startup
rendering of the rss page
usage when having 100 tabs opened
i'm not sure if there's something about customization i didnt get..... BUT
i'm in desperate need to put the new icons out of sight, and a way to put the old RSS viewer back on.
do i need to stay with an old version, or is there anything i can do about these wishes with newer versions ?
thank you in advance

Hey minitechnik,
Thanks for posting, sorry to hear you're having problems with Flock.
Can you provide some clarification about the "Small icons" in the RSS reader that changed? I know we changed the general theme, but little else should have changed, especially performance.
Let me know and we'll try to work through this with you. Thanks!
