Hi Folks,
As is customary with most software products when a new version is released, the older versions get phased out. Now that Flock has released 0.9 (with much fanfare) and we're now well on our way to releasing 1.0 (aka Falcon), it is time to retire 0.7 (aka Cardinal). We plan to officially end support this month.
By retiring 0.7, Flock will no longer make maintenance or security patches available for this version. This is really for two reasons. First, we’re aggressively focusing our collective brainpower by pushing towards the completion of our 1.0 release. Secondly, our 0.7 version is based on an older, unsupported version of Firefox (1.5), so as with all good things, it’s time for us to focus our efforts against continuing to deliver great innovative features in our latest releases.
We strongly encourage you to download the latest 0.9 version of Flock here.
All of your stored Favorites, Media Streams, Account log-in credentials, and history will be automatically transferred during this upgrade process.
In the next couple of days you'll be getting an automatic upgrade notice where you'll have the option to upgrade to the latest version of 0.9. We strongly encourage you to upgrade to the latest version so that you can take advantage of all the latest feature enhancements.
Click here for a chart comparing all of the feature improvements between Flock 0.7 and 0.9.
We have greatly improved the usability of our latest version. The feedback from our users has been overwhelmingly positive.
We’re working hard to continually delight you with great new features in the latest 0.9 release of Flock. We greatly value your feedback hope that you’ll continue to provide your extremely valuable comments to us by submitting them at at http://www.flock.com/feedback. We read every item that comes in and are constantly making fixes and improvements based on your feedback.
For all those folks who've been with us since Flock’s 0.7 release and before, we thank you for your loyalty, and hope that you’ll remain with us for the next releases. We’re on a roll!
Thx,
Mike

Good stuff! Huge improvements over .7 which was becoming stale to the mouth! :-)
i really enjoy this version, .7 was boring me, stopped using it.
far far better than firefox
ahhh sorry guys but... a lot of crashes, bugs , and so on... the list continues... as a web developer, Flock advantages are that is lighter than FF (memory issues) but not recommended for power users... (just in case) I've been using FF since version 1.0 (2004).
yeah, nice browser
The BEST! WHAT a browser! Now this is how OSX was supposed to surf the net.
