Hey Flockstars,
I don't know about you, but I live in a busy world. Meetings, lunches, air guitar solos, more meetings, projects...it's hard to find time for everything. While I think I do a decent job balancing all these items, I want to make sure that one thing does not get lost in the shuffle: me talking to you.
Flockstar feedback is extremely important to both me and Flock, Inc (plus it can be really fun). We have several methods for you to submit more formal feedback (bugzilla.flock.com, www.flock.com/feedback), but there's nothing like having a conversation. And that's what I'm here for.
With that in mind, I will be holding Community "Office Hours" every Monday from 11a-12p PST. I am usually available to chat via the means below, but I wanted to carve out some specific time to do so. During this time I will be at my computer, available on all channels, sipping my triple Americano, and not multi-tasking my brain into oblivion (though I might post a Twitter if you tell me any awesome jokes).
I will shortly list the ways you can contact me. You can also find this information on my profile. I will undoubtedly run into a few conflicts with these hours over the coming months, and I will try to make it clear which occasional Mondays I will be unavailable.

Don't know if your the right person to ask about extensions, however my flock 9 just upgraded again and this time I lost my Cooliris Previews, and Google Maps View.
Will they come back? Can we get a previous version of them that worked before?
Any help or direction would be great and thanks for a great product!!!!

Hey Carl,
I believe you can get both of those extensions at addons.mozilla.org. We cannot guarantee that they will work with Flock, and they could potentially affect performance. However, if you feel that you need them, give them a try from addons.mozilla.org. If they don't work, let me know and I can try to further troubleshoot with you.

Hi Evans:
For quite some time I've been looking for a better text editor for Flock. The latest version still lacks "text alignment" which I feel is very useful for blog postings.
The possibility of centering text, or aligning it to the right, left or justify it, is a must for me. Most if not all text editors, include this feature by default.
Do you plan of adding this feature to your next upgrade, i.e. Flock 1.0? Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

I only learned about this recently, but the functionality you ask for (text and image alignment in the blog editor) is actually there.
1. In the Blog Editor, right click on the editor toolbar.
2. Click customize.
3. Drag the icons from the Customize Toolbar which you want to add.
I've had problems getting the LJ User tool to link properly with selected text. This might be a bug.

I just followed your instructions and everything worked well. I now have all the text alignment icons on my Editor's Toolbar.

Hey Evan - just a though. We'd love to host a formal weekly Flock chat in Me.dium as well. Informally, Flock users gather in me.dium every day and talk about how rockin' your browser is. I'm sure our joint community would love it if they could see you in me.dium and chat with you at the same time. Lemme know what you think... Cheers! tobias

Hey, what about having those office hours in Second Life, too? That would rock! :-)
(basically like Linden Lab or Amazon does it)
To the Flock Team,though Flock is the only best Web Browser but the only thing i am unable to use that it makes my laptop stuck and give unusual errors and closes itself. I hav a good antivirus and for this reason i hav to uninstall it :( . I hope in the newer versions this wud not be the case!!
