We've recovered from a great launch week and are elated by the incredibly positive response to Flock 0.9.

Here's a sample of what people are saying:

“This is a very powerful browser for those of you who use social networking and social media...”
Allen Stern, Center Networks

"From the feeds aggregator and alerting system to the default YouTube search, it looks like Flock is hitting on all the right areas for its browser improvements."
Kristen Nicole, Mashable

“Flock is not simply a passive browser experience, but a ‘write’-capable platform designed to enhance the social media experience.”
Phil Butler, Read/WriteWeb

"In just a few short hours of working with it I've fallen head-over-heels in love with Flock 0.9.0."
Craig Eddy

"Once you install this cool freebie you'll wonder how you ever got along without Flock."
Life Samadhi Avatari, Media Webvolution

"Check out the new Flock web browser; it is about a billion times better than the old one."
Ioannus de Verani

We appear to have a number of new Flockstars at ZDNet:

"The jump from version 0.7 to 0.9 is a chasm and beyond the scope of this post."
Jason D. O'Grady, ZDNet

“I’m running Flock on both the MacBook and the Lenovo X61 Tablet PC (Vista Ultimate) and it runs like a champ on both platforms”.
Marc Orchant, ZDNet

"The look ‘n’ feel of flock remains as slick as ever, and is possibly the nicest ’skin’ for a browser out there. But this isn’t style over content and the UI’s most significant overhaul is its emphasis on improving discoverability."
Steve O'Hear, ZDNet

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and the fun launch week.  We were really excited to get a major release out to you, and we're hard at work gearing up for the additional releases we have planned this year. In fact, I’m thrilled to report that the Flock development team has already completed significant new work on bug fixes and enhancements to 0.9 based – in large measure – on the dynamite feedback the Flock community provided to us. This new development work will be in QA for several weeks and pushed out as a point release as soon as it passes through our quality controls (if you would like to participate in a small beta test relative to this new build before it is released publicly, email “evan at flock dot com” with the title “Flock 0.9.x Testing”).

Things are moving, so fasten your seatbelts, keep the invaluable feedback coming our way.... and enjoy!

I welcome your comments and feedback either here or via email (shawn at flock.com).

Thanks,

Shawn

I've been using Flock ever since December 2005. You guys have made a marvel of a browser... Kudos and hats off!!

I've only recently made the switch (about a month now) when 0.7 was out, but I'm hooked on Flock. I've even made my girlfriend download it and am forcing some friends to get it too :P

Love the concept... not sure why I cant update multiple blogs at a single time though... Why can't I have the option to fill out the blog editor form and have it update all my blogs if that is what I choose? Just a thought...

I installed it today for the first time and I simply can't stop "flocking" the net! I am amazed what this baby of yours can do! You've done an excellent job!
(and almost all the Firefox extensions I use are compatible with this browser)
Thanks for letting me into your Flock. :)

Congratulations on the great reception!
Jason D. O'Grady has been a long time participant in Flock and provided numerous, invaluable suggestions.

1.0 final off course .....

Flock 0.9 is simply magnificent.
Feel like TopGun in a stealth bomber!
Unbelievable

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! We're really happy to see you all enjoying 0.9 and we're all excited about the new elements coming soon.

I used to use Firefox on my old computer, after buying a new laptop with Vista I had problems installing firefox again. Flock was recommended by a friend and now I dont know how I ever survived without it. This browser has everything I need and more all in one place, right on my home page.

I have played a lot of games. The kal just is one kind of them. I never thought that such a game would have indulged, so no less than illness raised. The game is very beautiful, but I was the happiest that I have known you in the game. In this game, equipment syrup, kal geons are all needed a lot.
