This is such a great browser. I've enjoyed each new version more and more and it is quickly taking over all other versions on both of my computers. Your hard work and innovation is pretty apparent.
¡Congratulations! This is my favourite internet browser. It's amazing!!
Is there a spanish translate of this new version?
Very thanks for your all work
Greetings!!

Allright, upgraded recently but my profile crashed the upgrade so nothing I had from 0.7 carried over. I'm in firefox until I can recover from backup, but that won't give me my bookmarks for the last few days. When you do a major migration like that it's customary to let people know that you're going to nuke their settings.
What the hell did you do to Flock.com? It looks like your neighbour;s cousin did it?! It's awful, not a good first impression. Anyway, downloading Flock 0.9 now, see if the browser's better than it's site.
What have you guys done to Flock? It's so full of crap, buttons and rubbish. It's like you went to town with 3rd party toolbars on Flock. Wow, I really liked Flock, and the old site used to represent it well, but the new site suits the new Flock much much better.
First off all congratulations on releasing Flock 0.9! I've been using it since I first saw the link appear on your website and I'm incredibly happy with it. I've been advocating Flock on a lot of Forums that I regularly visit.
Secondly, great new website layout! Everything is much easier to find and it looks great!
Love the new Flock but cannot install extensions. Have to either save them to my desktop or use some program to open them. What gives? Thanks in advance!
I am really disappointed that the old, functional, navigable, beautiful, version of the flock.com site has been replaced by this cookie-cutter **** site (sorry, but it's how I feel). As many have said before me, it reflects very poorly on the product, which is half-decent, but which I will never refer anybody to solely for the fact that the website representing it is so poorly designed.
What happened to the site? Looks like you guys are pitching some kinda Credit Card, or fake service. It looks like one of those fake internet sites. Please bump it up, and don't make it looks so generic. New Flock has some nice features, but everything is starting to get way to crowded, and the GUI is getting way to busy.
I can't make the new Flock work and now I'm Flockless!!!! I've tried 3 times to install and run Flock 0.9.0 and it installs, gets as far as the Splash screen on launch, then nothing. Help! I was just running the old Flock earlier this morning with no problems, so I haven't changed anything on my computer (WinXP Home SP 2). Has anyone else reported this problem? How do I get Flock back??????????
July 10, 2007 - 2:26pm — Pete Prodoehl (not verified)
I tried the latest version of Flock, and I definitely think it has some potential, but flock.com - ugh... I much prefer the clean, simple, old version of flock.com
July 10, 2007 - 4:09pm — Paul Lloyd (not verified)
Oh dear God! This website is absolutely hideous. The old site was so beautiful, clean and easy to use. This is unbelievable! Cue the stock-photography people on the homepage, how original. Certainly a step in the wrong direction, for a company that I (used) to look at and admire. Now I just laugh.
Then I try the new version of the product - this trite even extends to the new browser chrome too. What was wrong with the old design, which had been refined over serveral versions and reIeases? I'm bombared with shinny icons from every single direction, and not sure what any of them do.
I used to download the browser and try it out to see how progress was going on what seems like a promising concept. I have just downloaded it again, but won't be in the future.
It's really sad to see such a great product go down the road you guys seem to be headed, please please please sort yourselves out and get a grip on this thing!
Thank you all for your feedback and comments - they are much appreciated. We are committed to gathering a broad range of feedback from Flock's existing and new users as we continue to improve all our products and services. Thanks for a great 0.9 launch day!
For a company looking to advance the web, it might be good for your website to follow common accessibility guidelines and best practices for building sites. Tables? A huge flash piece with no loading indicator? Seems like somebody missed the boat.
I really hope you guys read all the negative feedback on your site re-design and learn from it... This design has NOTHING going for it. Horrid, simply horrid!
I have to agree with the other comments about the appearance of the website. It definitely lacks the style and good taste of the previous one. Flock has always been characterized for having an exquisite taste. In this case you lost direction. Please go back to your previous website.
As far as Flock 0.9.0 I like what I saw. I'm still using it to get my feet wet on the new version. So far so good.
My goodness, that horrid redesign of Flock was enough for me to switch back to Firefox. The website is absolutely horrible as well, something like spam email I get everyday. And I'm obviously not the only one thinking this.
In the previous version of flock, when you published a blog post it gave you the option to include Technorati tags, now I can only add labels. Is the functionality of technorati tags going to be included again?
No no no!
I really really love Flock, but the new design is a disaster! The buttons are too big, even after customizing the toolbar didnt shrink. "My World" is such a great idea but also looks horrible. And your homepage .... jeeeez ... why? Where is the clean and nice artwork? You did such a great job the last month, but 0.9 is not what I expected. I want 0.7 back!
Sorry guys, but please please listen to the posts here. I switch back to Firefox before I go blind.
We're definitely listening to the posts here and collecting all the feedback we're getting. I have several large documents full of feature requests, feedback, and suggestions from here, from www.flock.com/feedback and from other places on the interwebs. These will all be seriously considered for future versions of the browser and the website. We are listening, and we do appreciate your passion for Flock and your honest comments about it.

Functionality-wise, 0.9 does seem like it has a lot of considerable improvements, so thanks for those. Unfortunately, I have to agree that the new look is not an improvement.
Having the search box on the far right is useful. It's basic UI design to have highly used elements in places where it is easy to get the mouse - it's easy to get it to the far right, not easy to get it where it is now. I can't see why people need a help button as well as a help menu, so I'd drop that, and the feedback button could be moved elsewhere.
The other additions to the main toolbar are ok - it's getting a little crowded, but it does seem like they add genuine functionality. It does seem like the bar could be thinner, and there's a lot of odd space around the forward/back buttons.
The "Flock" toolbar is particularly annoying. I'd use some of the icons on the left (media, maybe favorites, and feeds), but I don't want a bookmarks toolbar. Couldn't these two be separated? The icons would be fine on the main toolbar (addresses really aren't that long), or I could live with them next to tabs. While we're at it, why not let the user choose which icons are displayed? (Unless you can already do that and I missed it?).
The media bar looks like a great improvement. I'm not sure why I'd want to see Accounts/Services in a sidebar. The feed reader seems to have many good improvements, although there seems to be a lot less vertical space in the list of feeds. I can't see My World being any use to me, but for those that want something like that, it seems ok.
Here's hoping for just as much improvement in functionality with the next release, and a bit more forward moving and a bit less backwards with the UI...
-Search box: You can move the items to the right of the search box by customizing your chrome (see the next item).
-Choosing icons: You can edit the icons you see by right-clicking (ctrl-clicking on mac) the browser near the address bar and choosing "Customize". Once doing this you can add, remove, and move most icons. We'd like this functionality to be a little clearer, but it works.
-Smaller address bar: I think customization in this area (being able to move the feature icons to the same level as the address bar, for example) is a really good idea, and it is on our radar. However, people generally like a large address bar, and we're unlikely to change that.
As a closer, we are always trying to improve Flock's chrome. Flock 0.9 is much better for discoverability (there wasn't ANY icon for the blog editor in 0.7). We want Flock 1.0 to be even better...discoverable AND clean. Everyone's feedback is very helpful in this respect, and I don't doubt that Flock 1.0 will have even better UI and chrome.
Flock on!

I miss the old flock. I tried to set up my photobucket account and it kept telling me to log in and out, i did, but it still didn't set it up. Can you email me about if i'm doing it correctly or not. This is really upsetting. Plus, when I use to add xanga and myspace to my favorite toolbar, they had pretty icons, now it's jus tthe page icon which is ugly. Can I download the lower version of FLOCK. The um.. 0.7

Wow!
I never thought one day that I will be using a browser other than Opera !
I am using Flock for 3 days now and it's very good. Most of the extensions at Mozilla are also working.I think that adding to the site a page with all the working extensions is a pretty good idea.Any user can notify Flock.com about a working extension.
I also have a suggestion:why not having a default sidebar with buttons just like Opera and the 'All-in-One Sidebar'(wich by the way didn't worked) at mozilla.com.
The design of the browser is very good and its usability also.
The new Flock is great and works beautifully, but in a nutshell the new interface and new homepage are over-designed to an extreme degree. In design we speak about 'design insecurity' - where designers add all the visual bells and whistles possible due to a fear of simplicity. Complicating design is easy - simplifying it is difficult and it appears Flock is going in the easy direction.
