This is a very cool extension. Why bother having separate apps that require constant update checking, when I get this extension built into Flock and it reminds of updates when they become available...

I like the idea of this extension, but since I use the autoStatusBar extension as well, I can't really make as much use of this as I would. It would greatly speed up my blogging time. If there was a way to create a hotkey or a shortcut CTRL+O or something like that to take the screenshot that would be excellent, or even the ability to move the screenshot icon, which I was unable to do.
There is a context menu item that will allow you to take a screenshot. I try to avoid hotkeys as there are an increasing number and there are just too many conflicting ones depending on extensions installed.

This is by far the best screenshot tool for capturing an entire website I have seen and used. Great work, you have made my job easier - and you didn't even charge me for it ;)

Probably missing something but how do I make a selection? When I go to copy --> selection, it highlights the page in pink but doesn't allow me to make a selection.
Once turned pink, it should allow you to drag a rectangular selection.
Are you saying this is not happening?

Okay, I'm definitely missing something... I'm on Mac OS X (tiger): where does the extension save the image? What's the default location? I've looked on the Desktop, in the Library/Application Support/Flock folder, Pictures folder etc.
It should prompt you - are you saying you are not getting a prompt? If you select copy, that of course goes to the clipboard.

just found it and it's cool...
How can i paste the copied images to office apps, like MS-Office or OpenOffice Writer? 'cause I can't paste it. I only can paste it into image editor like photoshop or PhotoFiltre.

I am having this same problem.
The greatest usefulness in this extension for me and mine is the ability to copy a complete page as a JPG easily and paste it into an email in Outlook. I can Save just fine, but if I Copy it will only paste into a drawing/photo program - not into a blank email or word document file.
Can this be done? How?
No Macs here - does this only work on Macintosh?
Fireshot offers this simple functionality in Firefox, but it would be nice to have that for Flock.
All the extensions I try to install from the flock site keep on being downloaded as regular files and not being recognized as extension files.
Howdy Aleksey,
We are aware of that problem, and we're hammering out all the issues with the new site right now. W should have it fixed soon!

Should be fixed now. Thanks for the report!

Flock Web Guy
I love the concept of the extension, but, whenever I save a screenshot into my documents instead of uploading, it doesn't save as a image file.
Hi Tyler
Are you able to clarify a little more? Where you saving a webpage, the window, as jpg or png, was it a canvas or java grab?
Many thanks, tones

With Mac: SHIFT + CMD + 4 + Screenshot (entire page, specific image, portion)
With Mac: SHIFT + CMD + 4 = Screenshot (entire page, specific image, portion)
Of course not everyone has a mac, plus shift cmd 4 will not capture an entire scrolled page, just the visible part of the page.
Thanks for tip however

Figured it out...right click or the little icon in bottom right corner of browser.
