Hi.
My name is Elvio and i'm a brazilian flock user. I use flock in a debian system and i have had on problem. Before, my flock was perfect, but now, it don't access any page. I really don't know why, i did the reinstall of flock twice and i had not sucess.
Can you help me? i can't found this answer at another page..

you properly need to tell us all what the problem is and the version of flock you are using (you can find out by typing: "about:" in the address bar)

Hi,
I'm using the Flock 0.7.9.1 version and the problem is: every time i try access any site, flock returns me the same error:
"Server not found.. Flock can't find the server at.. "
but firefox runs cool.
Flock was perfect before, but now it can't access any site.

I reinstall all my Debian but the problem continues.. My firefox runs perfect, but flock always show the error that i need verify my connection... so?

Are you using any firewall software that might be restricting access to the Internet?

There is nothing restricting the access to the internet. Same happens to me.
Flock 1.1 on Debian Lenny. AMD64 arch.

Hello,
I've got the same problem with Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop, on AMD64 too.
As a turnaround I installed a proxy (bfilter) and I'm using it for the connection.

I experienced a similar problem a couple of days ago.
Flock couldn't open a webpage, while Firefox had no problems (with same page). The problem apparently disappeared by itself.
I'm on Linux Ubuntu 8.04
