Hi all - I'm loving using Flock, hardly had any problems with it at all (though it would be nice to be able to contribute to different blogs through the blog button)
One thing that would be particularly helpful though is setting up the Google search bar to use the local version of Google - which (in my case) gives the option of searching Pages from Australia.
This seems to be the case in Firefox anyways.
Thanks for the great work everyone
cheers

Hey. Welcome to the Flock! :)
I did a little bit of prying and found a way of doing this.
It's unclear from your description what platform you are running on so I hope you don't mind if I describe it for Windows :)
1. Close Flock
2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Flock\Flock\searchplugins
3. Copy google.src to some safe place
4. Open up google.src in notepad and look for line that says
action="http://www.google.com/search"
change this line to
action="http://www.google.com.au/search"
Be careful to use notepad or preferably a tool such as gvim that can handle Unix files. If you use notepad it will look strange but as long as you confine yourself to adding .au in the right place you will be fine.
5. Save the file and open flock and you should be good to go.
Regarding your remark about wanting to Blog to different accounts I am a bit mystified as you can do this, or did you mean that you wished to Blog to as-yet-unsupported blogging platforms?

Alternatively, you can install the plugin for Google Australia:
http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=Google+AU&submitform=Find+search+plugins
You will get a new entry in the search bar.

It'd be great to get this generalized and added to the wiki somewhere if it's not already there. Anybody game?
