Any chance you could update the API access to Google Maps? They already offer detailed maps for Europe, which are used by other services (Platial, Plazes), but Flock still shows the old maps...

When I first developed the Maps Topbar with Jesse, there was no geocoding service in Google Maps. This is why we used Yahoo!Maps, you needed to have coordinates (not adresses) to add a plot on a map with Google.
Now that Google has a geocoding API, Google Maps support can be implemented. I'm French so Europe support is important for me too!

oh my, i didn't even notice, that you used Yahoo! Maps and not Google Maps. Well, like i said, Google Maps offers fairly detailed material for Europe by now (i even find my place in a ca. 200k people town in Austria) - so a switch to or addition of Google Maps would be really nice for European users...
I support the stance of a Google Maps API too, but I think you're deals with Yahoo will probably blemish this proposition.
