Flock Blog

Flock was the major sponsor for the 2007 Camosun College Capstone Symposium in Victoria, BC. The Symposium runs every year where students from the Computer Systems Technology Program get to showcase their skills and talent to the IT industry, potential employers and the general public. This event draws over 200 individuals each year. With the Help of Brij and Evan, we were able to organize a Flock Browser event table, where participants got to check out and test-drive our 0.9.0 Beta version of the Flock Browser. We had a huge Flock Banner displayed and lots of Flock apparel and swag. It was a great success! The overall response and feedback was positive with many participants returning to test out Flock and peruse the features more in depth. Flock continues to be the main sponsor for the December 2007 Capstone Symposium. Media coverage was provided by A-Channel, which is Victoria's local news service. This was great for Flock, since we had major representation for most of the new cast.
