The Flock browser's new 0.7.9 release is now available to download on www.flock.com. If you already have Flock installed, you will be offered an an automatic update.
The key improvements are:
Integration of Mozilla's 1.5.0.9 patch for FireFox
Support for the latest blogging service from Google, formerly called Blogger Beta.
Danphe is based on firefox 2.0 and has youtube integration - there are digg toolbars available.
What do you mean by new flock homepage? Flock is a browser company not a webservice. I seriously doubt flock have the time, finance or desire to branch out from their core 'being' and do this.
If you are referring to when you first install and start the browser and it goes to flock.com/start with a yahoo search box, there's search revenue for them if you use it so that will likely remain.

Where was this said? It could be argued that the browser replaces the need for a netvibes-like page i.e start it up and you've got all your feeds, photo alerts, what your friends are up to (danphe), etc...
