Brett graduated with a B.S. in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona before earning a Master's Degree so he could teach high school math for five years in Portland, OR. He feels that after trying to get teenagers to think rationally with moderate success, he can do just about anything.
During his time as a teacher, Brett started developing themes for Firefox on the side when one of his favorite themes was no longer being updated. Over the past couple of years, Brett became one of the most downloaded theme developers on the Firefox Add-ons site and comes to Flock to add some fresh new skins to the browser.
Brett credits his ability to fix and improve things to his childhood when the rubber bands that held his favorite GI Joe figures together broke. Unwilling to leave his figures behind, he reattached their torsos to their legs and the rest is history.
