Lloyd is from Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. He first became involved in open source in 1996 because he believes in a better, far more collaborative world. But wasn't until 2005 that he began his first full time job working in open source. He feels it would be extremely difficult to ever go back to working on proprietary solutions.
Lloyd favorite thing is a hobby: sleeping. "I really enjoy being cozy and spending hours in a dreamy state."
Lloyd spends all his free time with his beautiful fiance, Julia.
